As the age of technology dawns upon us, students are more vulnerable than ever to involvement in bullying and parents may need to expand their scope of knowledge to include network etiquette.
Parents may find it difficult to catch up on all of the different aspects of the internet. Fortunately, the City of Pleasanton and the PTSA is offering classes to educate parents on how to teach students to be good people on the internet and stay away from cyber-bullying. This course (Course 6458) will be held at the Pleasanton Public Library (7:00 pm to 8:30 pm on October 25, 2017).
Another course offered through this event is the Student Event, where students can meet and talk to Annie Fox, the world-renowned author of The Middle School Confidential Series. This will be held at the Pleasanton Public Library (4:00 pm to 5:00 pm on October 25, 2017).
In order to register for these FREE educational events, go to Pleasantonfun.com or call 925-931-5359. All the information is also shown in the flyer attached to this article.
I hope that you would attend such events because they educate both parents and students on network etiquette.
