As seniors in Pleasanton are beginning to look into college admissions, there is a rise in concern about the outrageously expensive tuition fees for colleges. Students may combat this problem by researching on their own; however, when they begin to plunge into research about Financial Aid several sources give confounding results.
In order to help students with their pursuit for higher college education, the City of Pleasanton is hosting a FREE education workshops aimed at students to help them with their educational pursuits. This workshop will help students and parents alike get information about student aid opportunities, the State of California and private sources.
The workshops are open to both students and their parents and is hosted by Pleasanton Community Services Department and Andrea Silas, UC Berkeley Financial Advisor. Both of these people are well versed in the field of college admissions and helping student pursue their dreams.
