On February 4, 2017 Julie Lythcott-Haims provided the keynote address at a parenting event sponsored by the City of Pleasanton, Pleasanton Unified School District, Pleasanton Partnerships in Education, Pleasanton PTA, and the Friends of Pleasanton Library.  How to Raise an Adult — a special event for parents trying to find the right balance on how to raise children in an increasingly complex and competitive environment.  Julie Lythcott-Haims is the former Dean of Freshman and Undergraduate Advising at Stanford University and author of the New York Times best-seller, “How to Raise An Adult”.
