As the holiday season quickly approaches, Pleasanton residents get ready for the festivities to come. In the spirit of this holiday cheer, many gear up for the most exciting event of the year: the Pleasanton Hometown Holiday Parade!
The parade will take place on Saturday, December 2nd, 2017 beginning at 5:00 p.m. It will start in Downtown Pleasanton on Main Street, which will be closed starting 3:30 p.m. Attendees can expect to see floats, Amador and Foothill Marching Bands, Girl Scout and Boy Scout troops, other community groups, and more.
Tree lighting will take place shortly after the parade, around 6:45 p.m., although this time is subject to change slightly. Other events of the night include musical entertainment and even a special appearance by Santa!
If you would like to participate in the parade, you can register online by visiting http://hometownholiday.com/. The deadline for submitting the application is Wednesday, November 22.
