Military Poems Project

Let Military persons and families know we are thinking about them and wish them well!

City of Pleasanton Teen Poet Laureate Kyler Juarez is collecting poems for our overseas military personnel, which will be distributed in boxes organized by the Pleasanton Military Families sup-port group. This is a great way to support our military personnel serving overseas. The deadline to turn them in is Wednesday, March 1st.

You can e-mail poems to authorswritersblock@gmail.com or drop it off at the Firehouse Arts Center Box Office, 4444 Railroad Avenue, Pleasanton, during the hours of 12-5 Wednesday through Friday, and 10-3 Saturday. You can also mail it to Julie Finegan, City of Pleasanton, P.O. Box 520, Pleasanton, 94566. Feel creative? Decorate your poem page if you like. We are looking for as many poems as possible.
