    Pleasanton volunteer opportunities this holiday season

    It’s time for us to bring out our holiday spirit. And what better way than to volunteer and give back to the community? Fortunately, Pleasanton offers a plethora of exciting volunteer opportunities. Whether you want to help out patients at the hospital or play a part in organizing the Christmas parade, you will be able to make a difference in someone’s life this holiday season.     • Keep terminally ill patients company. They’ll love to have someone there to be a nice presence to talk to and spend time with. You may also write letters and run small errands for them.

    • Help to run a social skills program for kids on the autism spectrum.
