If you have a dog, cat, or any other type of pet, you know how much they can make an impact on our lives. Whether it’s making us smile in the funny things they do or making us tear up in the way their loyalty tugs at our heartstrings, animals genuinely make a difference in our lives and the lives of the people we love. So why not make a difference back?

Paws in Need is a San Ramon based nonprofit to improve local animal welfare. Through spaying and neutering animals to prevent the overpopulation of stray, feral, and uncared for creatures, and providing veterinary emergency care, Paws in Need has helped countless cats and dogs come to recovery and comfort. Now, the organization has plentiful opportunities for YOU to make a difference too!

Whether you’re a senior or freshman in high school who needs community service hours or just anyone looking to help out the animals and make a meaningful difference, you can volunteer with PIN. Just start by clicking on the link below:

You can also attend exciting events full of food and festivities hosted by PIN to make a difference. Although the tickets to go to the upcoming crab feed and raffle have been sold out, you can call 925-551-1877 to get yourself on the waitlist. Or if you’re willing to wait a while for another fun event, the summer holds an Italian dinner at Gianni’s Italian Bistro on June 24th, 2019. You can dine on dishes from an a la carte menu and participate in a raffle, and all the proceeds will go to the animals! You can visit PIN’s website, linked below, for more events and opportunities.

So click on those links, gather up some money, and get ready to make a PAW-sitive difference in the community!
